The Cosplay Journal is a coffee table periodical focusing on the Diversity and Craft of cosplay. We want to show that anyone from any walk of life be involved in cosplay and we are all capable of learning new skills, creating amazing things and bringing joy into our own and other people’s lives through the art form of costume making.
The Cosplay Journal’s mission is to dispel the myths about cosplay and cosplayers, as well as promoting cosplay as way into a world new world and maybe even a new career.
Somerset Cosplayers began as a way to bring together Cosplayers and costumers in Somerset and the whole of the South West and create a friendly, welcoming community.
Since then they have grown to over 450 members, and have attended many conventions around the South West.
They aim to promote a love of cosplay by arranging meet ups, providing support and advice, showcasing work, learning from each other, taking part in talks, and making sure everyone gets to shine in the group photoshoots!
At Dorset Scrapstore we love the unique and wonderful. Our charity shop is full of an ever changing range of fabric, plastics, paper and cardboard that has been donated by individuals and businesses.
